LAKE JUNALUSKA BUNNY RUN 5K/10K

Where: Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center - Weldon Gym
Length: 5K & 10K Races; Half mile Fun Run for Kids (10 a.m.)
Come celebrate Easter at the Lake Junaluska Conference & Retreat Center and join us for the third annual Lake Junaluska Bunny Run. The race is part of the Center's Saturday Easter celebration that includes an easter egg hunt for all ages.
Registration
Registration opens December 31, 2011 at IM Athlete. Click HERE to go to the registration page. Online registration closes at midnight on Thursday, April 5.
Entry Fees:
- Early entry (December 31, 2011 - January 31, 2012) - $17
- Regular entry (Febuary 1 - April 5, 2012) - $20
- Race Day Entry - $25
Fun Run - Free for kids 12 & Under - Must complete an entry form to participate
Details
Awards
Overall awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female and top 3 masters (40 & Over) male and female in each race. Age group awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female in the following age groups in each race:
- 15 & Under
- 16-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70-79
- 80 & Over
Packet Pickup/Late Registration
Saturday, April 5 - 6:30-8:00 a.m. - Weldon Gymnasium
Race day registration will end at at 8:00 a.m. sharp for the 5K & 10K to allow processing by the race timer.
Fun Run registration will stay open until 9:45 a.m.
Refunds
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Timing
The race will utilize chip timing. Chips must be worn on your shoe in order for you to receive a time. There will be a chip table near registration on race morning Weldon Gymnasium.
Course
With the change in venue from Stuart Auditorium to Weldon Gymnasium this year, the course will change. As soon as they are finalized, they will be posted here.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the race will go to The Junaluskans for maintenance of the beautiful trail surrounding Lake Junaluska.
